This is not tuition.  It's explicit GCSE English Language exam coaching designed to help students improve how they answer exam questions.

Many students lose marks because they don't focus on the question, they miss demonstrating key skills and they either don't answer questions they are unsure about or run out of time on higher-mark questions.

​​​​

These are issues of exam technique rather than ability and this is what exam coaching is designed to address.

Yes, If your child is:

  • Sitting AQA English Language
  • Currently working around Grade 2 or 3
  • Aiming to secure a Grade 4 in English Language
  • Able to access the exam papers but struggling to convert effort into marks

How does it work?

Coaching sessions take place every
Monday and Friday at 6pm

1) Over the Weekend: (30 minutes in total)

  • Students watch a short video (10 minutes) focused on one specific reading skill.

  • Using the guidance provided, they complete a short exam-style reading task.

2) Monday - 6pm: Live Reading Session (30 minutes)

  • Students are shown what examiners expect, common mistakes, and how to improve their work. 

  • Students correct and improve their work during the session with guidance.

3) Friday - 6pm: Live Writing Session (40 - 50 minutes)

  • Students are taught a strategy to improve their writing responses and then spend time in the session applying this to help embed it into practise.

  • There is time to ask questions and receive guidance as they work.

Self-managed support

£99 per block

(a block is 4 weeks of coaching)

This option suits students who are able to reflect on their own work and apply guidance independently.

 

Students:

  • watch the pre-recorded reading video over the weekend

  • attend the live reading and writing sessions

  • improve their work using the guidance provided in lessons

Feedback support

£149 per block

(a block is 4 weeks of coaching)

This option suits students who might benefit from more personalised guidance on how to improve.

In addition to the live sessions, students:

  • complete their tasks in an online document for teacher review

  • receive targeted examiner-style feedback and a clear next step to improve rapidly.​​

   You may cancel at any time.

No one can guarantee an exam result. What we can guarantee is focused, expert exam coaching designed to give your child the best possible chance of success.

 

The programme builds confidence, teaches exactly what examiners expect, and helps students show what they can do clearly and with increased confidence under exam conditions.
